T&D_Dist Lines in TDIP

WHAT IS IT? The number of distribution lines replaced under the Transmission and Distribution Improvement Program (TDIP), which started in 2007.

TDIP was started as a proactive initiative to review and forecast the needs of the system to ensure economical reliability, specifically from an aging infrastructure perspective.

Of those 330 miles of distribution line, 55 percent were underground power lines and 45 percent were overhead.
