CFL bulbs

WHAT IS IT? The amount you can save by swapping out incandescent light bulbs for CFL bulbs.

For example, a standard incandescent bulb uses 100 watts of electricity while a CFL bulb uses between 23 and 30 watts. If you choose the more efficient light bulb, you could see an energy savings of 70 percent.

By paying attention to your home’s kilowatt usage and the efficiency of your appliances and lighting, you can reduce your energy consumption and save money along the way.
