OPPD does a variety of work to support the communities it serves and to ensure safety around power lines.
Recently, OPPD was on hand to assist with a swimming pool installation.
An OPPD crew temporarily deenergized and lowered the power lines in front of the house where the pool was being installed. Then a 16-story crane lifted the pool from a semi parked on the street and moved it into the backyard.
