WHAT IS IT? If you stacked every tree and shrub at the OPPD Arboretum, it would reach 26,000 feet into the air. The arboretum, located at 108th and Blondo streets has approximately 1,000 total trees and shrubs spread over 26 acres.

In comparison, 26,000 feet is the equivalent of 65 Nebraska state capitol buildings and 41 First National Towers.

Learn more about the arboretum here, or take a virtual tour of the arboretum alive with summer color. The facility also has an innovative way of reusing trimmings from trees and shrubs.
