A company’s decision to locate an economic development project or expand to a new site is one that is not made quickly or lightly.
Along the way, many groups work with the company to ensure it selects a suitable location. OPPD’s Economic Development team is one of these groups. Throughout the year, the team answers requests for proposals from businesses, with the aim of bringing new customers – and new jobs – to the utility’s service territory.
