The sounds of the ballpark – the ‘ping’ of the aluminum bat, cheering crowds – are back. The NCAA Men’s College World Series has returned to Omaha after last year’s cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those sounds are welcome ones and not just for baseball fans. Local business owners and city officials welcome the baseball fans who missed the yearly trek to the city.
