Video: Streetlight program helps OPPD keep the streets lit

OPPD needs the public’s help when it comes to keeping neighborhoods lit. This includes nearly 100,000 streetlights.

streetlight program Sometimes the fixes are as simple as replacing a bulb, but other times, crews may need to dig up underground cables to make their repairs.

There is no central database to alert OPPD when streetlights are out. That’s why OPPD relies on the public.
