Video: Injection process one way to treat trees to combat EAB
WHAT IS IT?
Insecticide injection for ash trees.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The emerald ash borer lays its eggs underneath the bark of the ash tree which damages the tree to the extent that it eventually kills the tree. There are several ways to treat ash trees, one of which is the injection process, where an arborist drills small holes into the base of the tree. The tree then draws the insecticide in, protecting the tree for up to two years.
