This year, Nebraska will use a new communication program for travelers who encounter adverse weather.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation and the National Weather Service are partnering on a new program that proactively manages transportation before and during adverse inclement weather.
The program is called “Pathfinder,” and it will translate weather forecasts and weather conditions into consistent public travel impact messages.
Pathfinder aims to accomplish two outcomes:
