Unfortunately, power outages happen. Outage causes range from severe weather to vehicle crashes to animals interfering with equipment. Each utility has its own outage restoration process that expedites the restoration of power.

OPPD is no exception. The utility has set a process of what happens when customers lose power. The response effort involves many areas of OPPD.
